Good afternoon, I have been hit and miss on here last few years. Workshop is nearly ready with a mill and lather been delivered.

I would like a AC/DC welder for some light duty repairs on a car and possible aluminium work on motorcycles in the future.

has anyone used one of these welders? I know the sherman brand seem get ok reviews. This just seems like a bargain

sherman are the same but If i was forced between the two it would be the sherman digitig but again there's several brands flogging the same machines like weldpro, perfect Power etc.

One of the reasons i picked weldes was they seem to have a good reputation for helping customers.

Sherman was on top of my list along with R-Tech but i just dont have the budget these days for them and wont be used a lot

I'm not familiar with that site but reps an important factor for me to , a lot say you shouldn't rely on a warranty,but i see it like this, If a reseller has done all the research into what their selling,stuck their name to it and prepared to stand by it, and their supports on point then i don't really care where it was made or by who.

Weldes dont and havent shipped to the UK since brexit, caused by the Europe wide tax rules change.
They do list Ireland and NI, if you know anyone there, but then theres the problem if anything went wrong in shipping - Parcelfarce tried to steal my tig, marking it as delivered and telling me there was nothing in the van.

Hes from Ireland, But your right I bought a Mig by Decapower a while back, the closest seller being france but it was explained to me having it shipped from the factory in china would be easier so that's the route i took.

I'm a total amateur but I bought one of these from Weldes about five years ago..Jasic clone. Connections are a bit of a faff but I run a CK superflex torch and Rtech 7pin SSC foot pedal. No probs so far and if I had to replace it I'd buy the identical machine **mod edit - company name removed**

Good spot, i asked supplier to confirm and they said the pedal IS INCLUDED in the sale
