I've got a SWP stealth digi-Tig 315. I haven't used the Tig function on it yet. I've just been welding with the stick and seem to have a problem. I'm welding at around 100amps and it will be welding fine and put down a good weld but all of a sudden there will be a massive spike in current and blow through the work, then the current will return back to normal. It's not consistent and I can't work out why it's doing it. Does anybody have any idea what's happening or if the machine may be broken?
