Weld strength testing

Hello,

Does anyone know of any UK based companies that will offer destricutve testing services on our own parts. We make table legs and other furniture and in some cases we are creating very heavy pieces. It would be useful for us to know and also be able to communicate to our customers exactly what loads our parts can take as in some cases the customers will be using our parts to build their own furniture.

We are happy to send off parts for destructive testing but I am struggling to find anywhere that can offer this service at a non mass/industrial level.

When I was working I can faintly remember the firm sending off some components to this company (I think)

TWI do all our testing,
They can do any form of DT and NDT you like. We do not send mass amounts of work there way and they are more than happy to carry out anything we need.
The service and testing is top notch.

There are loads of Labs that will do that for you.
Have you tried the Engineering Faculty at Bristol University. They usually enjoy such things it helps teach whilst earning a few quid.
There is a company in Port Talbot R-TECH metallurgical services (or something) who could probably help.
CODE A WELD may help (not sure of the spelling) they do WPQRs etc but I think they test as well and I think they are in Gloucester.
There are a few in Sheffield but you would be going past loads to get here
