Weld On Hinges

Hello all,
I’m after some hinges for my garage, I’m making a metal door frame and then a metal door as a shell then I’ll clad to it.

Last couple of times I’ve used weld on hinges I’ve used some like the ones bellow, which are okay.
This time round I need a hinges that I can split apart. I am going to get the door frames galvanised so I it’ll need to be taken apart to do it.
What recommendations do you guys have? Any suppliers you’d use too?

If they had a flap on them to stick them out they’d probably be perfect.

You can get them. Like a normal door hinge but without screw holes. I prefer the multi loop ones as they don't wear as much. Last ones I got had brass washers too.

Sounds like you want those weld on bullet/barrel hinges, I found brundle to be cheapest for them

I have been having similar problems with a lot of our suppliers since lockdown, the mail order side of things seems ok but trying to speak to anyone theses days is hard work Last time I went down to Jaggers depot in Romsey it was four feet under water, the whole industrial estate was built on a floodplain.

I finally managed to get through, over £20 each for a hinge which is a bit fruity. I got off the phone and immediately saw them on eBay and got them for £17.50 a hinge so I bit better. Much nicer looking hinge than the folded ones.

I bolted on stainless hinges - looks good with no attention.

I fitted welded some carefully shaped bars to the back of the door that hook around the frame, so even if you unbolted the frame, it would still be easier to cut a hole through the metal door to get in
