Ive been using tig for a good few years, mostly on bodywork on old stuff. I think im sticking it together ok, but its never been that pretty. On bodywork, arguably not that important as you cant see it anyway.
But i do the odd bit of exhaust etc.
This weekend i needed to make a couple of pipes for my sump pump discharge lines in the house.
This is all 316 tubing, 2 inch, 1.5mm think wall.
Obviously the internet is full of "stacks of dimes". This looks nothing like that!
Given there is no real need for strength here, no filler rod was used.
Thoughts on the result?
