Surely that cannot work. Co2 comes out as a liquid when used as a fire extinguisher. How will just the argon and co2 gas work?

You use a puff of inert gas to put out small fires. Snap On had this gimmick on one or two of their mig sets years ago.

To be honest, I've used the shielding gas flow to extinguish the odd little flame in the past. I can see this being handy.

That's what happens when someone from boc and someone from a torch company play golf together -'come up with a way to sell more gas' 'sure, got some engineers who are bored'

I use compressed air to blow small fires out, but have a pressurised plant sprayer and dry powder extinguisher handy. dry powder is the last resort, it makes such a mess.

My co2 bottle the right way up comes out as a liquid, with it being a fire extinguisher. It hasnt got any of the nozzel thing on it mind.
