Weight of the Flux cored solid wire

We are using the flux cored arc welding ( with CO2 as the shielding gas) of wire 1.2mm dia. operated in 30 ipm ,25 V & 200Amp to weld a 2 m job & 5 m job . Suggestion required to calculate the wire weight consumed for a particular project/job (as the total weight of a roll is 15 kg).

Get some decent scales and weigh the reel before and after doing a reasonable amount of the welding concerned.

There are gas shielded flux cored as well as gasless

In answer to the original question................ask the manufacturer they should have this information

Better mechanicals, higher deposition rates etc, etc
