Hi everyone. I've been referencing from the forum for machine advice for a while and am impressed with the wealth and diversity of knowledge on this site. I remember getting my first stick welder at 11 and welding up all the (ROTTON!) farm machinery around, cooking the wee blue box red! 24 years on im still laying on beads and so happy to find there is a community of people as delighted about fusing metal as me! I always find the best way to learn welding is with an ARC welder, all the theory is there and its also a really strong weld when done properly, After that mig is a walk in the park. With this in mind I have developed a training program based in south west scotland and looking to get 4-6 guys in per weekend- 6 and there will be 2 instructor present- combined experence 40 years. There is a great caravan/lodge park at Brighouse Bay and you could make a break of it ie go unwind in their sauna and pool after all that hard work in the booth!! We will try our best with you and we hope to give you the confidence boost all welders need......DESTRUCTIVE TESTS INCLUDED IN PRICE!!!!!
