Bunch ot thieves anyway, their "we buy any bike" arm did me a favour though, offered a mate's mate £2200 for his bike, I offered £2500, he bit my arm off - when I got home and looked they were (same year, same model) going for £4000 - £4500...

They usually offer terrible prices on stuff they can't resell...and stuff they can resell they're usually behind others I reckon based on personal experience.

This company is part of the same group that does similar car and van and bike’s deals by several other names. They work on very low profit margins and it’s based on volume of sale. Most people won’t get offered a good price and they can afford to take a hit on the odd knacker they buy. Almost a car pawn shop. Their business is based around a combination of desperation and people that don’t want the hassle of dealing with muppets and tyre kickers.

Yes I think they aren’t all bad. My mate also checked in his knackered van and couldn’t take the cash quick enough!

Apparently they sell most of their stuff straight to auction.
That sort of milage of car, its almost worth just keeping until it fails a MOT or something expensive fails, then writing it off and getting scrap value for it... Cos that's more or less all it's worth anyway.
