Looking for some recommendations from the collective forum knowledge. I picked up a Peugeot boxer at auction last year to convert to a campervan. Copart special which was a non-runner but thankfully just a starter and new battery and she fired up.
In the previous owners haste to strip off the rooftop beacon / light bar they’ve left half a dozen mangled holes (~15-20mm which I’d like seal up. Long term plan is to weld up any redundant ones but I may need to use one or two for electrical purposes. I don’t yet know which ones so am looking for a waterproof fitting which can seal them up for the time being as there’s enough water getting in via condensation without worrying about the additional input from rain!
As the holes are a bit ragged in places my thought was something screwed as opposed to a rubber bung so that it has a chance of sealing. Almost like a single skin roof fastener but but nut and bolt as opposed to self tapping. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers
