I've had my clarke 100en for about 9 years (I think!).
It's always. Been great, but in fabricating more and more, and we have a number of landrovers in the family that require far more welding than usual.
I'm a computer engineer by trade, and having looked up these "turbo" models which don't cut out as much, I figured an upgrade was in order before I melt little clarkey!
I'm going to use an old copper cpu waterblock thermal adhesived to the transformer (somehow, I havnt even looked inside yet).
I'll plumb that through 10mm tubing into the wire feed area where it will run through an eBay special £9 brushless water pump, and into a range rover classic air conditioning evaporator (copper tubed as you can't use ally and copper in the same water loop. It shouldn't even need a fan if I can get the thermal transfer good enough.
I use a 15kg wire reel mounted on my angle iron bracket with scaffold tube to hold the reel. Never had a feed issue since!
I'll update with pics as I start to modify.
I don't want air movement in the mig as I am a messy worker and there's usually iron filings everywhere!
