Started having a spring clean, unearthed these, my educated guess is they are watchmakers gear cutters? each is approx 3/4" diameter, some are marked "SISO Rapids Swiss" Am I along the right lines?
They might not be gear cutters. They would be marked with something showing what size and tooth count they would cut. The tooth shape is wrong for gears. Gear cutters are made to be sharpened radially (form relieved), so the proper tooth shape is preserved.
Thanks, the box that they were in had a couple of watch mainsprings sat in it, plus with the cutters being Swiss made I assumed they were watch related. There is probably the same amount again but used which I didn’t take photos of.
