Warming up the spray room

The rust hunt on my car has got so prolonged that it's delayed painting by quite a few months. Whereas I'd intended to shoot the paint (black metallic) in early September, it now looks like I'm not going to be ready by January.

By that time, it's going to be minus 15 at night and not much more during the day. It gets to minus 25 in February sometimes...

With that in mind, is there any way I can insulate and heat my garage? I know paint ought to go on in temps over 15 degrees (not MINUS 15), so I'm thinking of space heaters and cladding the inside walls of the garage with alumnium foil. Is this a waste of time, or am I just going to be stuck until April?

wait till its at least 20c out side ,you will be waisting your time .the temperature change and moister in the air .You will end up with problems .Cold tank on compressor ,water build up ,blooming ,pin holing .i worked for a body shop that had cold shop .This car sat for 6 months ,they never dryed the car out ,after flatting the primer .they put it strait in the oven ,sprayed the car .Looked great when done .Until in the summer the sun got to it .Then the problems a curd .Moisture trying to escape through the clear coat causing small pin holes .That's what could happen to you.COLD SHOP

Oof, thanks for the warning! I guess I'll just cover the repairs I've done in a cheap acrylic to protect it, and then flat it all back again in April.

what ever you choose to do , feel the panels before spraying , in cold temps the room can be warm but the panels stay ice cold for ages
