Dont think Warco do DRO's only the cheap scales at inflated prices.
I do have a Warco 3 axis readout that operates off the SPC output of scales, waste of money costs a fortune in batteries. Cost of these is more than a proper budget 3 axis readout that does a lot more than just give a remote readout.
Warco do sell a good quality 3 axis DRO system. I have one on my Warco WM16 mill. When I got it about 2 years ago it was around £250 - 300. Does everything you need, inc PCD sine and incremental. Great bit of kit.
Proverbial box shifter, with a difference they are part of an electronics firm and I hear provide good backup. Have dealt with them before and very helpful.
Will be having a look at their stand at the Bristol MEX on Friday see what is new.
They are, but I feel the term "box shifter" is a very harsh in this case. I've bought a few bits from them, and the service and quality of goods are better then others. I keep saving up for a 3axis for the mill but as soon as I get the money it goes on something else
I think that term box shifter is the other way round whilst in stock, a rarity. If not can be waiting 7 months and delivered to a wrong unrelated address. They dont now the meaning of customer service and dont deserve any business having failed 4 out of four times and messed me about.
I stand corrected they do proper DRO's but just a 2 axis readouts £276 plus post, £100 dearer than Allendales better Universal display. Then add at least 2 scales starting from £230 to £400 odd, theres over £500 for only for a 2 axis.
Scales are Sino as Allendale use, they are good.
For the glass 2 axis price at Warco you could have the best expensive magnetic scales from Allendale plus decent readout (not the budget) and still save cash.
