Chuck easilly stopped with finger and thumb from 2000rpm!
Really if you tightened everything up i wouldnt risk them for anything other than clock making threads unpowered.
At least i could put 1/16" cut on a Myford ML7 1/3hp!
How much power do you want in such a small machine?
Too much power and you'll be twisting the frame, ripping the headstock off when you get a tool dig in!
Given the size of these machines, light cuts are obviously going to be the order of the day. The 7x12's are a whole scale smaller than a Myford 7. The 9x20 compare more size wize, if not rigidity.
End of the day you get what you pay for, a new Myford 7 is 5.5 to 6 grand!
