what im after is the type of cutter that goes in a die grinder or drill there called burr cutters i had some years ago but there blunt or broken now ... reason i need some is i have some ally cases to weld and need to cut a prep into them and also were i build the metal up some will need cutting back ,l looked on evilbay but couldnt find much anyone got any ideas looking for 3 or 4 really they need to be course as its ally im cutting cheers in advance steve

I get mine from Cromwell tools, most engineers merchants will have them.

carbide versions are fantastic, come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, from what i gather High Speed Steel versions are a waste of space.
I have a set of carbide ones and they are superb for both serious metal removal and fine finishing.
Go to fleabay and look for carbide burrs, there are loads of them. the pear shaped ones seem to be most useful. Note 1/4" is not the same as 6mm whatever the seller says.
If anybody is dishing out freebies count me in.
