W10 App running

I get this message when I shut down my workshop computer.
Obviously it is not very helpful as it is not telling me which app it is. I have looked at the startup apps and disabled any I don't need but it didn't help.
Any ideas how I can find out which app is the problem?

Not a clue. Have you clicked cancel and had a look at the running processes still open

I have but couldn't really see anything but will check again tomorrow.

W10's process manager is better than previous versions but try 'Process Explorer' from Sysinternals (a part of Microsoft). It's like what you're used to but on steroids. Can help to track these down.

Had enough time to post in another forum and return and still have to wait.

I looked at the Startup Apps and there was one with no name so I thought that was it but even when I disabled it I still got this.
Might be some old W7 thing as it is a recent upgrade.

Found the problem, I wondered if it was Screenhunter that was causing the problem. I have it on the home computer but I had disabled the desktop toolbar but in the workshop I hadn't so it sits up at the top of the screen ready for you to hover the mouse over it and it will appear.
I disable that feature and shut the computer down and it was fine, I have since shut down and restarted a further 4 times and each time it shut down fine so I am pretty confident that it was the problem
