Vriable speed gear box

Just testing this but cannot work out the speed of the gear box, Any ideas? I don't have a rev counter to hand.

It was at 0 till you switched it on

Take it off the motor and spin the output at highest and lowest settings watching the input. Will give you the ratios.
Motor speed is a known factor.

Easy from there.

I cannot see a make on the plate, I was hoping someone might know when they looked at it.

It looks like a kopp but mine doesn't give output speed either.....

Yes i would say they are the same maker..

it would appear to be a 315 model with a maximum ratio of 9:1


the lubricating oil is a bit special
