vinyl sheet to stick to inside of car windows

looking for some good quality vinyl sheeting to cut and stick to the inside of car windows.

so far have only fou d stuff with the glue on the wrong side.

preferably looking for a bright red

I buy stuff from Dorotape - a quick Google will get their website and you can browse through their range. They do static cling stuff but the adhesive backed stuff is fine stuck to the inside of a window if you are careful with the application and don't get rubbish stuck to the adhesive before you stick it to clean glass.

Why do you want it on the inside?

It sticks very well to glass from the outside .

If I make stickers for inside windows I just cut in mirror on my vinyl cutter..

Most of the glass etching you see in hairdressers and the like is just frosted vinyl filled with glue side to the outside and it looks fine.

I've been thinking of doing the windows on my car, there is the normal dark tint stuff which you apply inside with water-sometimes works ok if you squeegee all the water out ok and get no wrinkles have not seen any other colours though.

You can apply exterior vinyl using water with 1 drop of washing up liquid in a spray container. It will take longer to dry but you can squeegee out the air bubbles. It does NOT affect the glue and sticks just as well.

How were you going to make the stickers? Are they to be printed or just cut vinyl??

i can get them cut quite cheap, but it is cheaper to make the first few myself to see if they actually like them.

i have ordered some of the stuff from ebay for now, if they come out ok i will probably go back to the guy that did the stickers for my van and have a batch made.

on paper the design looks good, but as with most things it may not look as good when its in a car window

Norlander - I live round the corner from Digital Revolution. Outside their shop they have a Mercedes which is completely wrapped in chrome vinyl. There is a bus which is completely wrapped too which is an ad for them.

ive seen pics of the merc. My father was asked if he could spray a cossie the same as it. He found some decent paint too but price was well north of what the guy was looking for
