Currently sorting through my sheds while I actually have some spare time and come across this unusual one I was given years ago by a retired cabinet maker.
That's probably why it's in such good conditionDouble Blade Groove cutting plane.
I have 2.
They are a pain to use, pain to sharpen the 2 blades.
But a nice unusable tool.
And the magic carpet as well????Found this aswell
Sadly not.And the magic carpet as well????
I am going to try and flatten the leaflet out carefully and see if I can either scan it or take a better image of it. If you would like a better image let me no.![]()
Thanks for posting that ^^. That plane was a bargain at 12/- post paid
I actually remember some of the articles on that page, the 'Tea Miser' for one, and I have a vague recollection of my Dad having fallen for the advertising blurb and owning a 'Telu Log'[made in padded PVC no less

Just looked on the web, I thought I recognised “Telu log” I had one of those back in the late 60’s to record fuel & work out consumption. No idea where I got it from, I wouldn’t have bought it.Thanks for posting that ^^. That plane was a bargain at 12/- post paid
