i need a preferably free to download vid editing program that will allow me to flip the video as a mirror image...

the rear camera of my dash cam records everything backwards and i would like to be able to play it in the right orientation

If you do it is not admissible as evidence in court.

As it has been tampered with and there fore not a clean image.

My dash cam used do that, until I looked in the settings and saw it was set as a rear view cam.

if i use it for court i would provide raw files, but for my own viewing purposes i would like it to look normal rather than reverse

VLC has an option to flip on playback. Free in both senses.

vlc does alot more than this you can zoom in on the video as well

sound can be altered to much higher and also if out of synch can be adjusted so it plays the sound with the talking of people
