Anyone watch that? Posh chap gives some vintage race & road cars some welly, and a quick look at the engine etc. Each episode covers a marque like Alfa, Maserati, Aston etc. Nice to seem them driven with a bit of enthusiasm, sliding about etc, nice to hear the sound, and no prizes / profits / "we must build this before breakfast" bowlarks...

It's one of the Discoverys, Turbo I think, but pretty sure I've seen it on others. They keep repeating.
Once walked to Silverstone on the off chance while my bike was being dyno'd, was a fiver to get in and only 3-4 people watching vintage cars go for it, all sorts from big blown Mercs to small Brit cars, was cracking to watch. Only time I've seen that sort of race though.

didnt see it but on my way to post office today saw a mclaren mp4-12c in gery last 3 digits of reg said MR C! the bloke driving looked very happy to say the least!
Also, my ex father inlaw and race partner was at one point chairman of the VSCC. I once witnessed an open headed V8 Nash from the 30's race in the 6hour alcomers race. It was a joy to watch to say the least!

I have a neighbor who is into historic cars, I have seen coming down his drive an Alfa monza, Delahaye, Bugatti, DB3 Aston, C type jag and a blower Bentley.
I followed the Bentley round the block once. Obviously no shortage of folding stuff over the road.

Been watching "Chasing Classic Cars" recently, biased to high end/rare cars but some interesting stuff - on one of the discovery channels.
