Any ideas on what vice this is the paint on it looks like hammerrite but it's like this all over even in the inside so I'm assuming it's painted like that when new ?
Yes it looks near new a few marks but niceLooking at those jaws it doesn’t look as though it’s had a hard life.
Ok thought it was repainted so could be originalCan't comment on the vice but just because an item has been painted with "hammer finish" paint don't assume it's Hammerrite the brand. Reason I say this is because when I started my engineering apprentishp I worked at a company that manufactured hydraulic presses. These were sprayed with a "hammer finish" paint manufactured by Tetrosyl if I recall. So Hammerrerite are not the only makers of hammer look paint.![]()
