Vice identity......?

I hope the Collective can help identify this vice for a 'cyberpal' on another forum. He intends smartening it up as a gift for his Dad. He thought it was a Record but finds the word 'Premier' on it, along with 'British Made' on the other side and, as can be seen No 2. Size is as per the pic. He's interested in getting the correct paint [he's determined to paint it], if there is such a thing as original colour info available for this brand.

With the number of Members who have a vice fetish errr an interest in vices , I feel sure someone will identify it in short order. Over to you and thanks in anticipation

Original paint would be nice, but if its going to be a gift, he might also want to consider his Dad's favourite tool colour ?

Looks like a Record, badged as a Premier. Paint looks original, I’d go with that....

RAF Roundel Blue was normal.

Premiers were mostly blue, but can be red if GPO.

That's what he told me it was originally until I asked for pics. Saw that link you gave, but his is a different shape and has "British made" on it.

Roundel Blue is looking favourite.....
