out of interest had bigger jobs and bought the petrol powered type £160 ish if I rememebr from Germany post free of eBay.....worked well always started first time (copy Honda engine)...
it will get used a lot this year.....very happy....

I always admire the effort that goes into the formwork for larger concreting jobs. It’s a hell of a lot of work for something that’s ultimately a means to an end. Even doing our driveway which comprises a series of ‘pads’ took a fair bit of work getting everything straight with the correct falls etc. and there was no carpentry involved, just doubled up plywood ‘planks’. What concrete did you use out of interest?

C35 on some sections and C40 elsewhere, that said its watered down to go through a pump so god only knows what you actually end up with.

There was quite a lot of it on this job, we set all the studs for the steelwork up on templates and cast them in . The steel guys said it never works out but the whole lot dropped in place spot on.
