Hi there
Had a need to renew a motor last week in a machine I have so upped the power slightly .55 Kw to .75.
Changed it all over all went well re programmed the VFD and switched on.
Everything worked ok till I tried to put some load on .I felt as though I could slow down the motor speed quite a bit, checked the programme etc and thought it was ok .
Still the same so looked into it again and only found I had the original setting for motor speed was the same 1400rpm when I checked again the new motor was in fact 1440 Rpm.
So reprogrammed it and bingo it worked,
I hadn't realised the motor speed would be so critical to its operation although only 40 rpm difference. How ever the intricacies proved me wrong of VFD workings etc .
All ok now so no problem but one to watch out for if I change another motor over .
