vevor powder coat system - will i actually get anything for my money?

So, ive had this in my amazon cart for a while -

It went up by £50 a while back, and hasnt come back down.

I figured id have a bit of a look about. Plenty of sellers on ebay touting the same machine (which may be junk anyway, im unsure) and then google gave me this -

Same kit, uk voltage, supposedly returns accepted, but clearly a bit of a shifty site, by the language etc. I suspect drop shipping.

But accepts paypal, and the price is over the limit for section 75 protection also.

What do you reckon? I mean the same item is being sold by loads of different sellers. I dont know if its the sort of kit that, if it works on arrival, youre mostly safe, or if its likly to work for 2 weeks and then break.

I've brought 2 things from Vevor this year, obviously Chinese parts, but it's the same stuff you get everywhere else, seems they're just trying to cut out the middle man. A big blower fan and a milling vice. Quite happy with the process, one took about 10 days to arrive, the other about 3.
Actually over the moon with the 4" milling vice for about £50.

The thing is, the negative reviews are exactly what I'd expect. No surprise at all - they're an overseas company, who, as I mentioned, can't even get the language on their website right, and will offer no support at all.

But the product is a generic unit that a load of other sellers are selling also. So, assuming I go for that unit, I'm wondering if it's worth an extra £80 just to be able to talk to Amazon for a return rather than my credit card company for a section 75 claim.

I guess noone can really answer that for me.

Ive got a scrap oven, and im familiar with (and have) PID controllers and SSRs from an unrelated project.

My parts are only small, so im going to build a small oven, 2x4 footprint, and probably 4' high. It will be electric, so i really dont want to build it larger as ill just have extended heat up times without more elements, and then it all just gets carried away. My plan is a small oven, quick to build (* well, would be quick to build if i did anything quick) and go from there.

Ill need a blast cab also. Ive got a pressure pot, so can do the initial bits as total loss. My parts are brand new alloy, so im hoping that a rapid once over will not cost me much in the way of media in a total loss setup. I guess i may get away with manual abrasion, but the parts are all boxes, and its not easy to get them all in the seams etc.

Ive also considered the possibility of taking from the anodising method, and dipping them in naoh to clean them and not bothering with the blasting at all, but ive not read of other people doing that, so im cautious.

Load skates. For moving heavy stuff that ain't got wheels .
(We've got a set of 4 rated at 10-tonne capacity in work. We use them to skate complete industrial generators on and out of plant rooms).
