Very usefull tools

Thought i would start a thread that we could all post a couple of usefull tools on.
The sort of thing that costs £5, but saves hours and hours...

This is mine, a rule stop

Yes, they are good.

I have one of these gripper tools also:

Saved my butt many times. Seem every time you drop a socket it finds a hole in the frame and rolls way off inside.

Here's a few of my most ueseful tools, tools which seem to be out for every job.

1st picture - Big hammer!, little chisel for knocking bits of spatter off in tight corners (I hate seeing spatter), Drift - essential for aligning duties, well used heel bar, crowbar made from a piece of stainless rebar with a forged blade end, couple of wedges, and Nurofen for those difficult jobs.

2nd picture - Little selection of jigs. Next to nothing to make, but save hours messing around with squares and tape measures

3rd Picture - Most essential, no not the Geka - the KETTLE!!!!

Like the packet of Neurofen. Have you tried Syndol (get it from Boots). Top stuff when your brian is hurting.

Digital calipers, v.handy. Seen them for as little as £4... not super-accurate no doubt but OK for quick takes.

Welderpaul -you may not have a Brian if you've been drinking to excess too frequently, but you've obviously got a brain.

(The 'brian' bit was a bit Monty Python-ish, sorry.)
