Yesterday while doing a bit with my Portamig I realised I should really invest in a vernier gauge to work out how thick the metal is I will be working on. Its useful to know what power settings to use for quick set up.
Anyway we recently moved into our house in Essex (Aug 2008). As you can imagine just about everything is in boxes still.
Well I thought I need to clear out the shed and move some of the boxes there from the garage so I have some space to do welding. As I was pulling out things from the shed, what did I find? Well a lovely as new shiny halfords vernier gauge.
Also found, lenghts of 22mm copper pipe (fit for the scrap yard - should make a few quid with that!). Brass fittings, big lump hammer, draper socket set (minus wrench) and an unopened white box about 2 foot long.
On opening the box I find wires and very thin round tubes. Been on ebay and after some investigation found out its a Demon Angel Eyes kit for BMW E36. Brand new, interesting find...
So I have had a bit of a result, I wonder what else the fella left here!
Don't own a BMW but I think this will end up on Ebay. Unless someone here could use it!
