Vehicle rear battery connector sized fuse ?

If I run a cable from the battery to the rear of my vehicle to allow jump starting like AA etc, operation of small winch (to pull mobility scooter up ramp), and other uses what sized fuse do people recommend at the vehicle battery end under the bonnet ? I can see they are available in different sizes - 100A, 200A, 300A, 400A etc.

What size cable are you using? Fuse protects the cable.

This or a big circuit breaker, I used them with the D2 when I wired the rear battery and added Anderson plugs for power take off and possibly jump starts, allthough I never used it for that

We have them on a lot of our vehicles and not had any installation problems, keeping them clean is the biggest issue, they need tucking away or terminating in the boot to keep road crud out of them. If worried about protection a simple battery isolator switch near the main battery would do the job.

I fit a few of them,
The anderson connectors I use are mostly the 175a ones so I fit a 175a fuse.
