Vauxhall Corsa C aerial connector.

Before I use this 5 litre jerry can of petrol on my Corsa and burn it, does anyone know how the plug on the roof aerial disconnects? I can feel it's got a clip but I only have about 2 inches of wiggle room without removing the entire C panel casings and head lining to work in. I can't find any definitive answer on the internet. I loath designers. In the old days you had bullet connectors that just pulled out, now every connector has a different and more insidious method of undoing. I just want a vehicle that goes from A to B without NASA blinking at me every second and warning me that I'm about to pass wind. My last episode with my daughters Mercedes was enough. Trying to move it 10 ft with the door open was a big no no, wouldn't start, and getting the bonnet open, well I never did work it out.

Unbolt the aerial from the roof.
It will pull up and expose the coax cable and plug.

It will be a twist.
Press and twist.

Or stike and light.

I'm pretty sure it only disconnects at the radio end. Pull the roof lining out of the rear hatch seal and drop it down and you'll see the nut holding it.

Got it! Once I knew how the connector fitted into the bodywork I could remove it and see the clip for the connector. What a stupid contraption. All fitted and I put the petrol into the tank instead of the interior with a match. Thank you. Where did you find the diagram?

That's from the dealer tech info.

I have replaced aerials on that model of Corsa's and Combo's, but I couldn't even remember the style of connector, so had a look out of curiosity.
