Vapour Blasting info

I've been thinking that vapour blasting is something that I'd be interested in doing and am looking for some info on it.
Has anyone here built a diy version themselves?
I have a spare one of these powerwashers I could use to do it if it's suitable.

It's mainly car and bike parts I want to do. Does anyone know any good videos or threads they can link to that would help.
Appreciate any info you guys can give me.

I put some bead in a schutz can full of water and it worked! I keep meaning to try a bead slurry from a big coolant
pump, I have a 1/3hp motor coolant pump from a vmc, run the slurry though a tube and blow some air though it.
You really want a waterproofish vented box if your going to experiment, when I did the poor mans wet beading I got soaked with a water/bead mix.

I've watched a few videos ranging from wow thats impressive to wow that was an unnecessarily complicated way to make a big mess without achieving any noticeable results.

I’m not going to watch this thread as I don’t need another project!! I stood looking at a pile of old Honda engine parts today wondering if I should scrap them then started thinking about vapour blasting to see if they are useable.

Nice results there Graffian. I've contemplated feeding a paraffin gun with a bead slurry fed by pipe to the pickup tube but I'm not sure how long the nozzle would last. I might do some experiments.

just buy a machine mart hand held blast gun and bin the cup and put a pipe on it there only about 15 quid ish
