Van tool chest/ Widdman tools

Hi guys, we've starting to sort out our new van at work, decided we'd like a semi decent toolchest permanently mounted in it so if we go to a breakdown we at least know we've got most things with us.

A mate hass a shop soiled widdman box with tools I can get for a really decent price, I know it'll be Chinese made but he reckons its pretty decent but I won't have a chance to go look for a while, anyone seen/used any of there gear.

Secondly anyone suggestions for other .makes to look at, not wanting to spend silly money as have decent stuff in the workshop this is just for out and about.

There’s a sealey wedge one in the for sale section

Joking aside, you won’t get better for hand tools. Water proof-ish and everything has a place and is then trapped by the lid so it won’t bounce out.

I went round all the usual circles before I found this type.

For permanently mounted truck tool boxes you cant go wrong with the Bott system or the like, latches on the drawers so they dont fly open and road rattle resistant sliders.Loads of it S/H on the bay of thieves.

I’ll second that. It’s what I’ve got in the current truck.

Only thing I’ve found is that drawers can swallow a lot of space inefficiently if you don’t get it right. Same as a toolbox. I’m trying to get some sort of holders to maximise space in the drawers but not have it all as a big mess.

Plenty of accessories for Bott too like glove dispensers, sika racks etc etc.

We have,Wurth shelving and drawer units, in our work vans. It is good , but the ,Bott stuff, I had in my last van was better.
