Help < my head hurts, is 5.00 E 02 [computer display] the same as 50millibar ? I am looking for a problem and I have been circumnavigating my own anus and now cannot seem to think, thanks in advance to the clever ones who answer , ta!!

e2 came back as Torr = 1.33322 =5 mbar

Torr ? please dont confuse me any more,!!!I can understand millibar what I dont get is the computer display method of displaying vacuum levels, thanks for reply anyway,

5.00 e 02 didn't bring anything up in a search I think you need the unit of measurement that the computer is using to be able to find out

5.0 e02 is 500.
it's the same as 5 times 10 to the power of 2
can be any units really.

Hi Thanks for your replies,I think that 10 to power of 2 is the way it is to be interpreted , this leaves me a problem as I have no independent means of measuring the vacuum level and the new a/d card card in the demig computer programmer will need scaling in the embedded software , back to the manufacturer I think,
