As the thread title says, has anyone had experience of this and if so, was it problematic or doable?
I have a customer who wants timber strips roughly 15mm thick attached to stainless steel tubing which has a 2mm thickness. Knowing what a pain stainless can be due to its hardness when drilling, I'm a little apprehensive when it comes to tek screws.
At the moment, I'm thinking of using stainless heavy section type tek screws for this job because of the material. Can it be done?
Cheers all.
