Its all now 100% going through insurance and not my problem. I will have to declare it in future, ofcourse. He is not claiming for his van, so no excess to be paid, I believe?
Unsure on the day insurance details. The business owner is a sole trader with no employees and, rightly or not, pays a day rate for subbies. Very common in arb.
It almost looks to me like he has used a compare site and bought the first that he saw. I hope firstly he has included business cover and secondly that he has done it properly in his/the businesses name, with me as a named driver.
I can see there being a complication and possibly a falling out, if he has pretended to be me and created the policy in my name, with me as the policy holder, which would be fraud. I am only the named/insured driver. I have never seen the terms, contract, details etc..
All I have is a screenshot with a policy number.
