Urgent help required regarding CE Marking EN1090-1

Hi there,

I am in the process of setting up a small family run steel fabrication company. I've been researching CE marking or EN1090 to try and understand exactly what I need to go to get compliant. I think I can summerise the steps I understand as follows:

1) Establish Welding Procedures (WPS)
2) Establishing steel procurement procedures (basically from CE Marked companies)
3) Appoint Responsible Welding Co-ordinators (RWC)
4) Request audit from Notified Body

Is that all there is at a high level or am I missing some key points?

Welcome to the forum.
The extent of the work you need to do to achieve accreditation largely depends on which Execution Class you opt for.
As Robotstar5 says, have a look at the thread - there is a lot of information there.
