im beyond confused on how the retaining screw for my lock is suppose to go in, as I had to replace the barrel (used door for my workshop and they had no key)
basically, to fully lock the door you have to lift the handle first, but if you lift the handle the retaining screw hole is blocked (pics are with the door handle down then up, you can see it blocks off the hole)
so if I insert the screw I cant put the handle up to lock it using the key,
The retaining screw on the old one had no head on it, im not even sure how it was in there, had to hacksaw through it in the keyhole to get the thing out and break the old lock.
