Can't fault this machine at the price point but looking at better built mig machines..... single phase, car body + chassis steels and secondhand so around 300 ish. Murex, butters etc. maybe even the larger Sealeys?
One thing I've noticed is that at one point stitch and spot functions seemed to be the thing....and later models didn't have the functions..... Are these functions redundant though - when pulsing the trigger gives similar results? So quality of wire feed is important. My only other thought is s that I don't want Chinese PCBs - or at least only ones that can be repaired by sparkies in the UK. All thoughts welcome. TIA
