Mmmm,,,, A new Williams screwdriver set imported from the USA and a very old Snap-on.

I'll agree the handles may not be the same quality but the blade appears to be the same....

Only time will tell....but at a £150.00 difference in price between the two sets with what appears to be the same screwdrivers, I'll take a chance....

Check out the part numbers on the handles, very close...

The snap-on above is 20+ years old. I'll agree its rusty but been outside for the last 4 months as ill been off work after a major operation, back to work in Feb hopefully.

You misinterpreted. Snap on/Williams screwdrivers are both guff. Absolutely abysmal handle shape, by far the worst ratchet screwdrivers.

The only Snap-on rachet screwdriver I owned either was lost or nicked never replaced it, so I never found out and personally I like the square shape handle.

Each to their own opinion.

The snap on ratchet screwdrivers are one of the more reasonably priced in their lineup and I quite like using it for the smoothness of the ratchet. But for general use agree with the above wera make perfectly good screwdrivers at a great price.
I’ve gone through a few of those “palm” type ratchets and never found a decent one - either they keep “unlocking” presumably from having the switch against your palm or the ratchet is too coarse (teng) and no use. If anyone’s got any decent recommendations I’d appreciate it!

Williams is past of snap on group of companies and they make the cheaper blue point socket sets...bloody good socket sets if you ask me, dare i say better than their snap on equivalents ? not as well finished though or as ergonomic, but good nevertheless !
