Is there a variant of Unistrut that's about 1" square in cross section?
More accurately I know there is but I want some parts for it and don't know what to go looking for or if it's maybe a bespoke thing that someone has had manufactured.
I have a pair of minibus seats that have the small unistrut crosswise on their bases that the legs fasten to. I would like these to be made into a double seat so that I can just use two legs for the pair - due to limitations on where the legs can go through the floor of the vehicle with suitable spreader plates below.
I have another pair that came joined together as a pair, they have "standard" sized unistrut in the same way and the pieces have been joined with a hefty plate/flat bar with threaded holes inside the strut and then a U shaped section that goes over the curved edges of the unistrut and bolts go through this into the threaded holes in the internal piece. Unfortunately this pair are a bit ratty and the fabric doesn't match the van whilst the individual ones are brand new and have matching fabric.
If needs be it wouldn't be beyond the wit of man to have something suitable made but if it's commercially available under a name I just haven't come across it would probably be easier to just buy what I need.
