Also would need another switch to power off when the lights were switched off at the end of the day, but is do-able, daft as it might seem a small car battery can be cheaper than a m/cycle one due to the more common sale factor, and give more capacity ie light more light bulbs, to be honest that is what I had planned for my workshop have some down lights off an old end of life battery.
