Has anyone used these to get rid of mice. Interested to find out if they work, or not.

I bought some cheap ones, …… definitely an or not! A colleague has a rat infestation in the loft & bought Rentokil ones & said they worked ok.
No not really.
And what if they are deaf.
If you want to get rid of 'em, buy a toy windmill, put it outside and fill it with clogs, they will make home there.
We have something in the office, as well as traps.
Unless everyone has finally managed to not leave food and chocolate out, it might be doing something, as I've not heard that distinctive squeal of our admin assistant coming face to face with a hungry mouse for a good few months.

Bought two, years ago, one for use in my workshop, although no food was stored there and one for use in our house. In each case, mice would come in during the autumn months, perhaps more for shelter, but it didn't take them long to find our kitchen.
Neither worked, a complete waste of money.

We had a squirrel in the loft, and bought one out of desperation really before calling the pest guy out, didn’t expect much….(id already tried some suggestions of putting strong smelling stuff up there - vinegar mothballs etc -which did naff all)
Haven’t heard a peep out of the attic since about 2 weeks after I put it up there (the leaflet suggests it can take a week or 2), and that was 6 months ago or more.
I did however see a squirrel making its way into the guttering of a house across the road a few weeks ago so I assume he’s found a new abode.
I was sceptical and thought there’s no chance of it working, but I’m convinced they sorted our problem out. I’ll dig out the link, I think it was pest-stop brand. It’s in the loft and out of the way but the cats and dog haven’t been bothered by it.

The pest controller who almost became one of the family with the amount of times I used him for 3 properties with rat problems told me that you will generally trap/poison for eternity. Even if they stop, there's a good chance they will come back years later. They key is to stop them getting in. Easier said than done, I get that.
By chance I spotted a tiny gap in the blocks in the back alleyway. Stuck a few allsorts down the hole and they disappeared straight away. I dug it out and came down on a huge void which was their nest. They had chewed a hole through the brickwork and were getting inside the cavity and up into the roof space. They had clearly been doing it for a very long time. I flooded the void out with postcrete, it ended up taking 20 bags as it just kept running away, filling up all the voids under the alley.
I never had any luck with various repellant devices I tried, traps worked, but doesn't even scratch the surface. The splatted rat would just provide food for the 1000's of others.

This is a wifes tail I have heard of before, I am not so sure there is much truth in it though, or in what locations are we talking about, I see rats and mice live closely at down at the farm, maybe in a residential setting its different..... not so sure though.

live catch traps and let em go on the patio and watch the dog nab em real quick
rats follow mice pee ,,,, mice are incontinent ,,, back to their nests to eat their young ,,, so if you have mice and dont do anything about it , you will soon have rats.

Or just have two cats that “bring” em in, then “play” with themlive catch traps and let em go on the patio and watch the dog nab em real quick

One of our electrical control panels had a mouse/rat problem as they got in through the cable ducts so fitted one of the electronic repellors and had no problems for years.
