Ultrasonic cleaners

I'm looking to invest in a small ultrasonic cleaner. One of the services we provide is machining out throttlebodies for increased performance. I'm looking for a machine to clean the throttlebodies after machining prior to glass beading. Any recomendations on a affordable ultrasonic cleaner and the best solution for cleaning aluminium

There are ultrasonic cleaners on Ebay but I've had quite a few that people have asked me to look at. The components seem to be underated and I also suspect that some are 110 volt running at 240 volt and haven't been modified correctly. Try https://www.allendale-ultrasonics.co.uk/products They deal in cleaners and fluids and if it goes wrong at least you speak the same language! Fluids make a big difference, as does power and heating of the fluids.

I bought a small one off the 'Bay and it works well, it is one of the smaller ones, but I've had a mower carb in it. If you're doing bigger stuff as seems from your pic, check measurements carefully before committing to buy.

Have you considered soda blasting for alloy cleaning?

No I'm not wanting soda blaster. I don't do mass amounts so as long as I can get 4 in at a time that would be sound.

Do your research/measuring very carefully, some models are limited and it can be difficult to judge purely from the liquid capacity often quoted.

Allendale are a good firm as far as I can tell, I took my knackered 10 litre cleaner in for them to have a look at and the guy spent 15 minutes with me even though I bought it off eblag.
Old school type if place in Hertfordshire, they do the model engineering show circuit and sell all kinds of measuring kit as well.
