Ultrasonic cleaner parts

Hi chaps, I want to make one good ultrasonic cleaner out of two blown up ones.
I’m ok on the electronics but I need to use the switch panel from one to use in the other. My problem is the switch/display cover, which is a sticky back item, is damaged around the switch buttons and will be damaged even more if I try to remove it.
I can find new display/switch panels but not the overlay. I’ve tried most of the descriptions I can think of.

Has anyone ever seen them or know what they are called? Thanks for any help.

It sounds like you're looking for a membrane keypad, but it sounds more like you're trying to source component parts which is....unlikely to go well.

Yes , it is a membrane keyboard but I’m having trouble even sourcing one.
I’ve been in electronics and computers over 50 years, so have no fear, it will go well once I source what I need. I’m 78 and still designing stuff.
