Have the same and agree capacity is below 10Lits 10ltr but I think its more like 8.5ltr
Ideally you need to break things down as much as poss to get the dirt to escape from encapsulated parts.it a big 4 pot down drsft edelbrock 500. Did you strip everything or just put whole thing in complete?
Idont no anything about them
In this picture, it looks as if you have the basket sitting on the bottom of the tank, rather than suspending it in the tank with the two handles.I bought one of these from Vevor a while back, about £120 I think, its 10ltr but I think its more like 8.5ltr,, wouldnt be without it now, thats a 48 sidedraught carb and its associated bits in it, using a decent cleaning solution seems to help

FYI, UK trading standards confiscated & destroyed shipments of Vevor ultrasonic cleaners because they have a serious risk of giving electric shocks to the user.I bought one of these from Vevor a while back, about £120 I think, its 10ltr but I think its more like 8.5ltr,, wouldnt be without it now, thats a 48 sidedraught carb and its associated bits in it, using a decent cleaning solution seems to help

Hi @Am333rcr. I’m happy to help if required and offer forum members a discount.hi
if this has been covered let me know.
I have a large edelbrock to clean . i think i will just strip main jets etc. as it is a couple 200mm odd long.
its there prefered types or is a cheap one just as good as any?
within reason.

Takes a long time to heat up, uses more liquid than you need which is a bit pointless for doing smaller items. I will probably end up buy a 6L one to go with it.Why?
Yep, totally with that, have a 1ltr Roberts brand one that gets as much if not more use for all the above reasons and seems to direct the US affect quicker on smaller parts.Takes a long time to heat up, uses more liquid than you need which is a bit pointless for doing smaller items. It genuinely seemed like getting bigger than I needed was better but it's not. A bit like have a massive woodburner, it's counter productive if you don't need a big one.
If it was in use all day then no issue because it would be already warmed up, I know there are ways round it, fill with hot, use a separate vessle for chemical but for my use it's often a case of just needing to pop something small in so it's not worth waiting for 15L water to heat up.
Isnt that one of those Chinese things that bigclive demonstrate made the water live?!Makes sense. I do recommend one of these though it makes my big one heat up a lot lot faster: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385421018530?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
