it depends how it was intended to be wrote do they mean ceiling or sealing it with plastic masking sheet who knows I think either way you have found a typo

I think it was meant as ceiling but because it reads right, it slipped through.

I originally drapped sheeting on the sides of my garage (3m masking film), now I have run it up the sides, across the ceiling and down the other side and it's amazing. Its like a hot air balloon once the heater is turned on. Hopefully there won't be any explosions.

Next time I will give more consideration to the floor and my clothes. The amount of dust/hairs in the clear coat was still quite shocking. Looks good enough for this time though :-)

no, no details, it was mate of a painter I know not sure it was ever made public he was found sat on a chair dead in the garage, just make sure there are no ignition sources with all the vapour in the air

Yes - should be ceiling because it is part of a list

If it was sealing the sentence should read "Preparing the workshop by lining the walls and floor and sealing with plastic masking sheet".

Ah but, the roof is above the ceiling so if you want to fit the sealing to the roof you'll have to remove the ceiling.

I've never bothered to cover my ceiling with plastic, can't see the point.
Being pedantic you should use proper body mask as the overspray will stick to it and not fall off onto your painted surface.
