I understand very much, these heaters are basically much smaller versions of an indirect space heater, I have one of those, kicks out 68,000 btu, it’s an enclosed unit and works in the same way. Indirect space heaters have been sold in the UK for decades and are perfectly safe as long as the glasses are exhausted outside.
My point is that as long as the exhaust pipe is clamped securely to the exhaust you‘re not going to be poisoned by carbon monoxide. I think you have a basic lack of understanding of the risks here, those Chinese instructions are clearly telling you how to mount it to a vehicle whereby the exhaust obviously goes out through the floor, the exhaust on one of these chinese heaters would not go through a cavity wall, they’re not long enough anyway.
