Tv up the spout ?

Round a mates today said can you set my tv up once it was turned on I got this as a picture

the static is fine it's the black on the left side of the screen I think it's a plasma screen tv I'm assuming is for the bin ? Looking like the screen is bleeding ?

that looks to be lcd and its had a knock bottom right side of screen

Given the choice between watching that or watching the stuff the wife watches


I'd chose that

if you look round the edges you can see its clear the static shows up up ok but its darkover most of the screen but on the left looks bad
