Turtle bus

Inspired by gringle's one I attempt my own take on it.
I cut a O or fat washer from brass and pressed in some alloy to make the shell, cut out a rough shape of the body.

Was hoping to get my photo's developed today.

I then cut a washer of copper and plugged them all together.

Drilled some holes and put copper pipe in them.
Laser cut out another outline of the body.

Roadkill!

I can't work this one out ... nothing new there, but am looking forward to the finished article.

Sorry mate I got caught up doing a few other things.

I riveted some brass on alloy to make some feet.
The rivets gives some thing for the mig to fuse.

Opened up the roadkill and took i's guts out.
Some rough sewing stitched up again.

Next some more brass goes into the head area.

in ever decreasing circles I pressed the plate to dome it out.
A line of weld around the shell.
